WTB - 73' Lights & Wiper switches

Looking for the 1973 lighted (fiber optic) switches.(I've tried to swap the seemingly-same ones from a truck and 610, no go.) The 510 stems are about 3/8" (9.5 mm) longer. The 510 set is face mounted then the dash/plastic installs over, stems sticking through. The Datsun siblings of-the-time ar...

Powerland aka Camby replacement

Many thanks to jbirds510, this guy did a fantastic job putting this together----solo. I was there today, Sunday. (I missed Saturday) There were 60-70 cars, trucks, wagons, one-off's -----all well represented. Several parts vendors, numerous individuals selling parts. There was sun, shade, level lawn...

Re: Wanted to Buy: Floor Pans, Body Repair Panels

daw, Just another 2cnts, FWIW. I did use the Wolf Steel set with great results, both my 510 & 280, I'd bet the gage is heavier than OEM. I've seen the comments regarding fit and finish. However, my experience was: they were very adequate. I went-in expecting some fitment and fab. (and I do agree...

Very sad, I also never met him in person, just a patron. As a new Mukuni 'tuner' his guidance, patience and follow-up were much appreciated. Best wishes to his wife, family and those who knew him in this family.

Re: DQ 10.2 - Suggestions for New 510 Owners

For those whom may have missed the Portland Historics last weekend it was impressive to see the scale of enthusiasm and participation up here in the NW. While my machine is only street-worthy, there was a very, very impressive set of race-510's well representing "Datsun" as the feature for...

Re: WTB Lowering Springs

If you haven't sourced these yet, I have a set of stock front roadster springs. I believe they'll be a simple bolt-up, inexpensive solution to your rear 510 lowering and you'll know the rates. They might not be your ultimate choice but these are free if you pay the shipping.

Re: 2011 Mount Washington Hillclimb, In Car with Dave Patten

Just watching this for the 1st time. Having worked on the plans for Pike's Peak for a number of years I've wondered how Mt Washington stacks up, very impressive. Congrats on 3rd, very tight drive, very, very well done. thanks for keeping the 510 in the hunt.

Re: Weatherstrip

Please take Okay's advice here, I've done the experiment with the material you have pictured. No matter the volume of adhesive, you'll be dissapointed for your time and effort. When it comes to wind and h2o they designed the 510 quite well for the day, ONLY, if the correct 'strips' are used. The Try...

Re: new door panels

Panel update: Thanks for the thoughts. Looks like I'm getting in the neighborhood of 10-12 interested players, Realm & DQ so far. I'll get it on Bluebirds. Yes, these are just the "skins." I'll ask if there is any cost implication for colors other than black. Black is what I told him. ...
