Re: NANKANG AR-1 group buy

Can we confirm that 13's will be available in Canada. The website only goes to 14's. I also would be more interested if I could run my libres.

Re: WTB L16 intake for SU carbs

I wasn't sure or the size, 46 mm sounds right. I've also heard you can 2 bolt them. I run the z carbs on a custom intake on my lz2.3. I like them. Once setup they are usually trouble free. Full sets of 38's show up a few times a year on Facebook. I keep an eye on Datsun parts and needs, or dpan. A W...

Re: WTB L16 intake for SU carbs

510 SU's and intake are 38mm and 2 bolt for each carb. The z SU's are 42mm? And 4 bolt.

Re: Cam Identification

Fwiw I've seen the old 240z spraybars get loose with age. The front tube fell out of a bar on a friend's z. Got caught up in the chain skipped a tooth and bent a valve. Quite an expensive ordeal. I looked at 2 I had and both would wiggle. Not sure how the tubes were originally held in place. Just fo...

You are correct, I reread the email I received with the pictures. It is Don Lamont. Glad you could add another name to the face.

Re: Doug's automotive

I didn't mind the hijack. Here's a picture of Doug, ( the guy with the helmet in his hand) to bookend the thread. Looks like Westwood wasn't the only place he raced the roadster.

Doug's automotive

This picture was sent to me today. My new neighbor is from New Westminster and was around in this time period and knew Doug. This might even be before Keith's time. A cool shot and advert none the less

Re: WTB LH headlamp housing and hood release cable

The release cables on eBay are for RHD. But I've installed 2 on the left. You have to change how they are mounted. One I installed lower with the lever pointed upwards. The other horizontally under the dash. Better than a frayed cable and I've not seen another option.

Keep an eye out for my son's car in Airdrie. Light green 2 dr. Probably won't be out of its heated garage until spring. Welcome to the realm.

Re: With asap front brake hose in Calgary

Well too late now to worry about pad choice. It's portafeilds street pad r4s I think. The 7/8 the master went in and bleed smoothly. Will have time to test it tomorrow..id like to find a gravel road to check lock up skid marks. Then maybe a parking lot. Pedel feels much better in the shop. Poor Just...

Re: With asap front brake hose in Calgary

Were running portafields front and rear. Were hoping for dry on Sunday so we can toss the car a bit. Using neverseize on the adjusters helped. So at least when we're done everything will be adjusted and bleed with new dot 5 fluid. Were just waiting for the call that the 7/8 master has arrived.

Re: With asap front brake hose in Calgary

The pedal feels mushy and around the floor will grab. Is a 15/16 too large. I'm worried were waisting our time taking zkcars up on his one and finding it wrong. Maybe waiting for the 13/16 is the way to go. Were looking around town for the 7/8. With no luck.

Re: With asap front brake hose in Calgary

We just went out and tried to work on the rears. Adjusted them and tried to bleed. Started with the master. Had bleed the front ,or rearward resivior and it was fine. But when we went to do the rears or forward resiviour, the master wouldn't curculate right. So now I'm thinking replace the master. W...
