Re: Road & Track: why stiff springs = less grip

its not only writers, it seams even manufactures have lost the balance between shock and spring. a guy in a SLK on the perimeter road didn't like being past by a datsun. he hit the old jump just past the bridge at about 110km in the slow lane. the front end absorbed the jump and the rear end was pi...

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!

Me and Sam installed some Tomei cams that Clayton gave me. Kind of a bitch to put in. They delete the oil pressure intake cam timing advance. They pre advance the intake timing which makes it a tough because all of a sudden the cam lobes aren't on the low sides. We got it though! Over all the power ...

Can you measure from the firewall forward to when the steering link angles over to the crossmember. I think this would give me a good idea if your set up would clear my DP.

No big hurry, just next time your getting dirty.

Re: 2.3L of fun

I just found this in someones long term test of the NT01 and it explains what the feel like perfectly. "In terms of sheer grip it's all there no doubt. We found that it is between 0.5-1 second faster per lap than extreme performance summer alternatives like the Hankook Ventus R-S3 around a 2 m...

stand alone coil packs Electromotive

This stand alone ignition system runs off a crank trigger and allows you to program the timing curve. It also has a rev limiter setting. The pickup bracket was made for a Z24 block but had a L series head, so I'm not sure if all the L blocks have the same casting or not, some modification may be req...

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!

At the last two autoX's I've had brake issues. My rear brakes were locking up on me, which sucks because I love trail braking. Of coarse it's always hard to decide which route to go... Upgrade or replace with stock... Well of coarse I decided to upgrade with a DP Racing pedal box I picked up years a...
