Re: 71 wagon

Yeah some gauges like autometer and such have great lighting already. GPS ones, or a regular ol GPS in general is easy to see. The autometer gauges and similar brands you can replace the lights with these LEDs and make them whatever color you want. I wanted my gauge lighting to match the color of th...

Re: 71 wagon

Thanks for the links. Was the reason to use the 5 leds bulbs vs the single just for more output? Yes, exactly. The first pic with the 5 LEDs in it, is a 220 degree bulb, so the light is emitting 220 degrees. It shoots more light out in more directions VS the second Led I listed. The second one is d...

Re: 71 wagon

LED part numbers. This is for the stock cluster. You I don't have a tach. You will need three of these. Pick your color wisely as the gauge cluster has those green plastic covers. I removed mine, if you do that you can get whatever color you want to match your car. Cool white will just make it brigh...

Re: 71 wagon

So the temp and gas gauges were kinda meh. Sometimes the temp gauge worked, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes the gas gauge would just read empty. If I pushed on the pc board, it'd work. I knew it was time! Pulled the gauges out and cleaned the contacts, all of them. For the lights, then removed the ga...

Re: 71 wagon

Cleaned the inside out, vacuumed too. Need to install some MR2 seats I picked up. I hate to throw these 510 seats in the garbage. They are a little torn up as the stitching has come out, but they are still VERY comfortable. As if they were never really sat in. I have driven this car for 5 hours stra...
