Yeh, it was one of my favorites of the show. The guy got 3rd place I think, he's owned it for years, but just recently finished it.

If you're not mechanically inclined, you'll have to pay someone to do all the work. Any swap price will about double when you have to pay someone else to do the work for you. So you need to be realistic about how much you want to spend. Plus, if you're cheap, the car will end up on someones backburn...

I'm looking into building the same thing. It's our assumption that the big dishes in the stock VG33 pistons are to make the engine non-interference. I mean, think about it............the crank/cam timing can't be so vastly different than the VG30 to have the valves open when the pistons are at TDC. ...

What are these, and where are they? Had a VG30 for many years now and never even heard of these.

The LSD R-200 is not easy/cheap to find either though.

I have an entire M30 rear end at the house, which I may drop in my box flared car. Nice brakes, separate drum e-brake, CV's, and R-200.......but no LSD.

Be very interested in a VG30/33 engine tag, could even read the same as the VG33 listed above, to fit the motor I'm building.

If it's a 69', then it's a 521. The model previous to the 521 was the 520, which is identical from the doors back.
