Re: Zootowndime's Dime
Haha wow, well over 4 years since I last posted on here. What can I say going into business for yourself is quite time consuming and I haven't done a whole lot to the 510 besides enjoy it after it was up and running. About a year ago I sold off the carb setup and decided it was time to step up to a ...

Weber 45 DCOEs, KA24DE Intake Manifold, Modified Distributor
Update, kit has been sold! Alright, well its that time that I start on a new project. I have been running this carburetor setup for almost 5 years and it has been a lot of fun, but I have slowly gathered together everything I need to fuel inject my dime and very soon boost it. Up for sale is a pair ...

Re: Duke's'72 Carbed KA project
Duke, it has been awhile since I have been on the realm and actually searched around for awhile. Not sure how I haven't seen any updates from your build but as always you do an amazing job! My carbed KA dime project has been on hold for awhile now. I moved down south for work and just haven't been a...

Re: Duke's'72 Carbed KA project
Duke, glad to hear the car is still running good. I haven't done much to my 510 other than just drive it. Made it to a few autocrosses this year and stayed fairly consistently about 4 seconds behind the fastest times of the day. About a month ago at a local car meet they brought in a portable dyno a...

Re: Drivers side fender needed
well a few dings here and there is ok. The fender is going to have to go through paint anyway so if it needs a little bondo to look good thats fine. No major rot if possible. I might be able to fix what i have still but was just tempting the waters to see what was out there. Ha not much these days.

Re: Drivers side fender needed
Nobodys got a drivers side front fender? Qwik had a NOS one but I didn't want to ruin something like that. Well maybe not ruin but I'm running flares and didn't want to cut it up and drill holes in it.

Re: Toyota Crerssida???
I think the cressida is an awesome old school car. How reiable they are can depend. They have the 7mgt motor that is notorious for having headgasket issues so that could give you some headgasketaches. Other than that they seem to be pretty solid from what i have looked at. I was planning on getting ...

Remember that RB swapped 510......
I am sure most everyone remembers the very controversial RB25DET swapped 510, i will just let the pictures speak for themselves. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2764/4327341480_a10d1523a9_o.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4039/4327341668_a08f19497a_o.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4031/4326608...

Re: Wheel Spacers?
Wow thats a whole lotta spacer. Is the car flared? A 15x8" rim is not going to fit under stock fenders with a 2" spacer. I have 15x7" rims w/ a 1" spacer and my car is flared and the tire sits pretty flush. They are 205 width tires. But even w/ smaller tires your rim would just b...

Re: SR20 oil pan brands and skid plates :)
Also sometimes a crack can be repairable. I got a hairline fracture in the oil pan in a car i used to drive. Just drained out all the oil and let it sit to drain for a day. Cleaned it all up and fixed it with jb weld. Drove it for another 2 years with no problems before i sold it.

Re: SR20 oil pan brands and skid plates :)
Do not buy the ebay oil pan. That think is no good. The casting is horrible and can lead to severe issues. Other than that its up to you on what you wanna spend. The tomei and the greddy i believe allow an extra quart so a total of 5 instead of 4 and of course they are aluminum and you get the bling...
