Ok. I didn’t read that very carefully. A 350z uses a 240mm clutch. Perhaps that will work for you?

I think they are 250mm but 750 and 880 Kg clamp.

Re: How to get a 5.1 or 4.875 final drive for a R180 diff ?

I have an '85 diesel 5 speed. Well in parts. The front case was donated to be used on a Roadster. (the starter is on the left and the bolt holes line up with the U20 block) with the front case you can 'graft' on a 71B or 71C body and gears. A great way to get around the scarcity of parts for the ori...

None of our Diesels were 4x4.

The '87-'89 4 cylinder Pathfinder WD21 had a 4.625 R-180 in the front but may be short length

The '80 Long Bed 4x4 did have the long nose R-180 in 4.625. I know of none above that number.

Try just starting all the bolts and leave loose. Same with the engine brackets.

Re: Motor mount question

Depends where you are. Imagine sitting in the vehicle. left is to the left, right to the right.... it's universal, can't go wrong. In Australia, Japan and other countries the passenger side would be to the left so that would be confusing to those readers. I might say 'single engine bracket is on the...

The single engine bracket is on the left the other on the right.

The rubber isolaters are the same.

Re: Muffler selection. Magic solution needed.

I kept my stock 710 resonator and added a larger diameter inlet muffler using a 1 7/8" to 2 14" pipe adapter. The 2 1/8" ? outlet is just a 45 degree bend towards the ground. The muffler is physically longer and larger around too. My theory is the muffler has lots of internal room to allow the exhau...

Try the '73-'79 620 Datsun truck. I can't see the difference in them.

Mains... L16 / 18 are the same. L20B / Z20 / Z22 / Z24 are the same. KA same diameter but vastly different width.
Rods.... all the same including KA.
