Re: The Newest '73 510
Yup - that is really cool - likely did role off the line close to yours.
I'll do my best to be at Knox Hill... I was there a few years back with one of my other (previous) 510s. Penticton would be an easy one too!

Re: Post a pic of your Dime.
SO... here it is (it was a tad dark in the shop when I took this picture, I can post a better one later sometime).
Build date is 1/73
The last number is actually a 9 not a 5 (434039)

What is your serial number if you do not mind. I have a 73' which at this point has been the youngest car logged at this site. There are very few true 73's.
Here's the VIN: PL510434035
Could you explain how the serial # breaks down?

Yup - you're right toylet...
510rob - a good friend of mine did the swap back in the 80s... fortunate to be able to get the car from him. The car's got 52K original miles on it.

WTB - clutch/brake assembly
Hey all...
Anybody in BC have a clutch/brake assembly that you might be willing to part with? I brought a new-to-me '73 dime back from Manitoba in the summer and am looking to swap out the -- ahem (mumbles under his breath) -- 305 V8 automatic.
Thanks.

Mike - thanks for meeting me... great to meet another 510er. I'll keep an eye open for some of the events (unfortunately I'm in Alberta for the Japanese show.

Re: WTB - Weber DCOE single side-draught manifold
BTW - do you have linkages that you'd be willing to sell too? (or can I modify my present dual side-draught linkage to work on the single)?

Re: WTB - Weber DCOE single side-draught manifold
Awesome... What were you running on the manifold (40s, 45s??) What are you looking to get for it? Would you be willing to stick it in the mail or on the Grey Hound bus?
Let me know - thanks,
Steve
