Re: Is this how Ground Control coilovers should fit?

not sure of sleeve fit, these are my front 280 struts with metal threads welded on. my rears just use the pinch cooler over the shock with the red sleeve. but the sleeve fits tight. i have not tried to spin it to see if it rotates on the bench. but it doesn't rotate mounted in car. Re: four into two '68

Love this build - great work! Can you see the light?? Looks like it could be roadworthy by summer.......? James thanks and yes after a few years playing with this thing. its time. we will try to get it drivable this year, but i also want to repair a few "oil leaks" on the panhead. and i h...

Re: four into two '68

i can't install the guage yet cause of speedo cable routing. so i moved to finishing the oil cooler. we used a thermostat style sandwich adapter at the filter end. and an earls performance cooler. most earls coolers have -8 an o-ring fittings. but this one has pipe thread. guess its new-old stock. o...

Re: four into two '68

i find myself jumping all over the place on this car but its all forward progress. :D worked on the wideband 02 setup.we decided to put the gauge in the blank spot on the cluster were the clock would mount. so we cut out the back and i faced up a bracket to mount the gauge to. we are pleased with th...

Re: four into two '68

got some 15x6 retro 4's from Futofab a while back and we love the look. thanks dave. :D how ever, the front clearance to the lower spring collar is to tight for me. so we ordered 1" shorter springs to give us more room. hopefully they will be here soon.

Re: Feeler WTB: Rear seat cushion and back

rear seats are around. a lot of guys do not run them so there are a few in garages all over. probably not pricey, unless you want mint condition. I guess it depends if you want a stock look or aftermarket. we have put first generation Honda prelude seats in a 510. fronts with mount mods. rears with ...

Re: four into two '68

ah yes, I read your heater swap post last year and received said part from Jordan last year. :D . however I had to swap the lever from the right side to the left side of the flapper valve. so I could connect it to my 68 controls. Im also going to use a generic cable controlled 90 deg. heater valve a...
