Fastenal has gotten everything for me over the years and they have great prices. There was a great deal on zinc chromium grade 8 bolts last year because Europe isn't using them anymore so the stock was really high. Don't know if that deal is still there.

" Over 800hp from the 1.6L. That is pretty darn impressive" back in the early days (80's) BMW was getting close to 1300-1500 in their qualifying 1.5l 4cyl. motors and would de-tune them to the 800+HP

there are a couple guys in the local VW scene that do fantastic work. Their work has made it into magazine quality cars many times. PM if you want their numbers.

a buddy was with me at the historics one year at Mission. We pointed out to a Porsche 912/911 driver that his right rear wheel was cracked in a few spots (Porsche Fuchs I believe). His response was thanks but he didn't do anything. We reported it to the stewards, and once again, they let him race on...

and don't ever by Fram oil filters, they are pure crap. Purolator are much better. Way more filtration
