Re: WTS: 72 510 2-door ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Hello all :!: I realize this is an oldish post, but does anyone have any pictures or information on what was used for this cars conversion? The kijiji link is dead. I would like to find out anything I can from the previous owner if he is interested. I have done some research into electric conversion...

The unit is still in the package it was shipped to me in.
I purchased two, but have not needed the second as I thought I would. $150 USD shipped to your door US or Canada.

Re: Project: 72 2door <---My first 510!
No allen wrenches were harmed in the making of this film. The strut housing and subsequently the caliper adapter brackets have been modified to accept 3/8-24x3/4" thread. I do not remember off hand what I torqued them too, I'd have to look in my notes when I get home. The hub seals clear. I do ...

Re: Project: 72 2door <---My first 510!

The I.D. of the center hole was too small on all four, as well as the mounting holes being not quite aligned with strut or rear control arm mounting holes. Good excuse for more machining lessons from my fat...

Re: Project: 72 2door <---My first 510!
Made small patch panels for p.o. cutouts in Radiator Support. Image of one of them tacked into place. I finished welding them into place and ground edges. Painted engine compartment with an industrial rust stopper once surface rust ground down for second time(can be seen on firewall in image of patc...

Re: Dime Quarterly ending
I hope that we as a community will again be so lucky as to have such a publication in the future. Only time will tell. When the time comes, I will write the first article I do, however, find it somewhat ironic that you made this sentiment, given the situation DQ finds itself in. DQ is only ending b...

Dime Quarterly ending
Last night as I began to read the most recent issue of The Dime Quarterly, "As DQ ends" caught my eye and my heart sank. While I have been quite the slacker as far as MY dime goes the last few years with buying the house, excuses, excuses :D The Dime Quarterly along with Time and This Old ...
