The 510 Realm

Race car only part. No need on street car. We ran one on our GT-4 car years ago. Also referred as a poor mans dry sump back in the day. Eliminates the tight bends in the engine to and from the pump.

-12 line runs from the external pickup in the pan to the pump adapter and -10 line runs from the pump adapter to remote oil filter/ cooler/ and back into engine.

Should pull the pan and see if maybe they did the 1800 crank and rod swap. It was popular back then.

Just went through some pictures and came across a picture of my KA24DE pan.

I use the factory valve spring compressor that was available from Datsun Comp many years ago.

2 sets of the b pillar trims for me as well.

KAs are less common in oz as well I believe since they got a 200sx with SR instead of the USDM/CDM 240sx with KA. I think this may be the main reason. They only got the KA in FWD guise. If you look closely at the head, you will notice that it is different than the RWD KA head. This engine is awesom...

Nismo part number 11044-A7651 is 88.5 MM and has the correct timing cover pattern. It isn't cheap at list of $79.

Ted Hedman runs this combo in his car. We have run many rallies with this setup and it is a well balanced combo for running throught the canyons. He did have to modify the header to fit the LHD car. My buddy added a steering quickner in his EP 510 because he couldn't get the car to turn quick enough. He has since converted it to twin A-arm up front. He says it is the only way to be competitive if you want to go the nationals which is one of his goals. I don't have any pics. I will check to see ...
