RE: T/C Bushings [wanted]

No kidding, I took my brother's car out for a spin and the low weight coupled with the shore wheelbase... you get to choose which window to look out of while going forward when the road is wet. Twitch the wheel a little to the left, apply gas, correct wheel, look out right window. Turn wheel to the ...

OK, so I'm still a bit cinfused. There seems to be one more piece missing from the diagram. the screw holes in the window part seems to be facing rearwards(tucked under the rubber). So in order to have the latch mount so that it moves inwards, there must be another L-shaped bracket. So anyone have o...

WTB: Rear Window Hardware

Howdy, anyone have the pieces my brother needs for the rear side window latch? He bought part 20 (see attachment), but needs 17, 18, 21, and the part to the left of part 21 without the part number. Also, what mounts on the bottom part of the sill? the part below the mystery part to the left of part ...

OK, after a bit of research, it looks like the appropriate turbo would be from either a Porsche 944 TurboS or Turbo 911. Since I'm sure both are VERY INexpensive ;) (yeah right) anyone have any other ideas? Small diesel motor?

RWD,
Do you or any of the other modern motor folks know what turbo would support 250-350hp, somewhat reliably, and (here's the kicker) came stock in some car. ie, available in junk yards. that means reasonable priced used.

Thanks!

RE: turbo V6

Yeah, it's a vg30et, same swap as a vg30e... except the non turbo has a tight fit between the steering box and the exhaust manifold... The turbo crossover goes behind the motor! so you're gonna need to replumb that. My brother wants to do that to his vg30, but there will be a fair amount of exhaust ...

RE: specs.

What's funny, is that that is basically a standard hotrod: Mustang II front clip, Chevy small block, ford 9"... Of course it has to have Weld Draglite wheels! I'm just curious why they decided to shell it in a 510 instead of a Pinto or Nova? At 2600lbs, it's no ultralightweight (I think that's about...

RE: Re: RE: all you ever wanted to know about gas...

Kind of a fun fact about octane ratings... Here in Germany, they post the higher of the two Octane numbers. (I forget right now if that is the RON or MON) so they always say that the gas has a lower octane rating in north america. In all actuality, it is almost exactly the same gas. Just the numbers...

RE: Re: RE: rpm vs gearing chart?

You guys must be making some nutty horsepower (I know Keith is). 150mph isn't that easy to achieve, especially in a barn door, I mean a 510... As for keeping the same top end ratio with a 3.9 and .77, it's just 3.9*.77 which is 3.00. Now straying too far from that you can come off the horsepower pea...

The wagon looks great. Kind of Audi Allroad meets Scout II, but at the same time it's a big fuck off to SUVs. The sedan is just weird.
