Re: All Japanese Classic '17 - Vancouver BC Aug 27 - Pre Reg closed at 205 cars

Just a quick note. Pre registration closed tonight at 205 entries including 9 bikes. We hope to see many more on the day. There is a cap of 250 cars for the show because is space limitations. So if you're planning on coming and registering on Sundaybat the park - BE EARLY! Thanks to those that did a...

Re: Front calipers don't release

The problem is simple, the rod leading from the pedal to the brake master is too long. Shorten the adjustment back so there is a little free play. What's happening is that the BMC pistons are not full uncovering the compensation port, and your brakes can only pump up and not release. Do this and you...

Re: The Nickel (was belted goon from the weeds)

Yep, I used a generic turn signal box in the Mazda we had as well. It takes the separted turn and brake signal and combines them on the trailer to one light (just use both is you have a two bulb tail light. Cost was around $90.

Re: All Japanese Classic '17 - Vancouver BC Aug 27 - 190 cars entered as of today

This years All Japanese Classic is shaping up to be just as exciting as last years show, with 190 cars entered as of today. We are sure to hit the 250 car cap for the show, gates will close at that time as there just isn't space in the park for more. If you want to guarantee your spot, be sure to re...

Re: B.C. BURNS

These fires continue, yesterday the CBC reported that 19 fires have now combined to make one big fire, which at its widest point is now 114kms wide. The fire also has the distinction of being the largest wildfire recorded in BC history. The folks of the interior of BC continue to struggle with poor ...

Re: NVH Issues

I did spot the engine mounts in the Bronze and dropped the engine oil pan within 3/16" of the cross member when using the syocknNissan type motor mounts. So some geometry can be gained here. Due to the distance between the motor mount and the tranny mount, that likely made only a small change t...

Re: Column shift auto to manual?

Hi Bruce, welcome to the site. In fact it is as easy as you think, the automatic shift linkage can be simply unbolted from the existing column. There is no need to change the column itself. As noted, you will need to find the ignition cover for a manual transmission car, and there's also a small bla...

Re: All Japanese Classic '17 - Vancouver BC Aug 27

The AJC show is just around the corner - less than 2 weeks away. Attendance looks to be even better than last years show with a whole lot of new cars that we've never seen already signed up. Oddly, many of those that we know well have not signed up for preregistration. But I fully expect to see them...

Re: 71 1200 Project ( Picture intense)

The 1/4 panel shot with the lighting presented is a bit artistic.

Progress looks great - think you could drag it out on a trailer to the AJC at Waterfront Park on Aug. 27th? You could be up for best project!

I have also made a very similar manifold in 45 and 50mm sizes in the past. Your new motor sounds like it'll be fun. I have been itching to go back to twin carbs myself on a project....might use my brothers car for this!

Re: local news - Bystanders rescue family from vehicle fire in Pitt Meadows

It was, Dave and I were first on the scene. I wouldn't go on camera. But there is no doubt that with the help of 5-7 other people, we saved this family from a horrible ending. In retrospect, I have no idea how we picked up the SUV and placed it on top of a no post barrier in order the free the 5 peo...
