Re: Help identifying struts and brakes?

The calipers look more late model than what Japan and NA got. We got a single piston, angled pad sliding plate caliper design. At first glance I thought it may be S30, or S110, but the casting quality looks newer. Any part numbers?

Re: Roll the dice

Damn! How much damage did you do to the driver of the F150? How bad was the damage to the wagon? Pretty much most new vehicles do this, but you have to really be asleep at the switch to do what this guy did. I rent cars all the time with all the grannies, they do assist normal drivers. But if your a...

Re: Pilkington Windshields - Easy and new Availability

Eh Guys - for those that have purchased here from Summit - what's the packaging like? If I have one sent up here across the line, it can't go back - not effectively anyways. And I don't want to buy something that arrives cracked. Love to hear your experience on the packaging that these arrive in- th...

Re: Carburator Jet Box Storage ideas

That's what I need, but all I found were supper cheap versions - with less dividers! I wouldn't mind buying something that will last, and that will be transportable. Oh - thanks Jeff. I do enjoy my missing cam, inefficient single plane Ole L motor and the lack of a hair dryer. Really, I do. And I'm ...

Like fall arrived overnight. I’m in if the weather holds.
It's a bit cooler than normal for sure. Headed to northern Alberta next week - snow in the forecast there for tomorrow! Eeeek!!

Thank god I live in Vancouver!

Re: New Member

Welcome to the 510Realm Jim. We have a few active South African members here who could likely chime in on your specific issues, but for the most part it's really just trim changes and engine sizes that are different from what I've come to understand over the years. For the most part, the structure o...

Carburator Jet Box Storage ideas

OK, I put a little investment into a small pile of precision machined brass that needs to be organized. I currently have 45 different sizes of main, air, pilot and pump jets for my Mikuni's... but I need a reasonably sized way to organize and store them. So I thought I'd throw this out there, and go...

Re: F10

There is no doubt about it’s Japanese styling and heritage- that’s for sure! Did you catch the 310 for sale in Delta this weekend, it’s the next Gen Sunny in line, just as rare but significantly improved. Not good, but better. The only F10 that I am personally say I enjoyed.... As a kid, with my fat...

Re: F10

Damn, and it’s even a wagon version.

But if you’d ever drove one, you’d change your mind about wanting it! It’s simply one of the worst designed shifter mechanisms I have ever had the chance to touch!

Re: Jordan's '72 2 door KA project

Great write up Jordan. Playing with unbalance is a really interesting learning curve. I see you have (had?) access to a Schenck machine with a Cab 720 head unit, this is the Cadillac off balance machines, a really quality machine, and what is in all of our newer ABB turbo shops. The machine I had he...

Re: "83 280ZX close ratio box and 3:90 differential

The "close ratio" ZX box - close ratio being a standard misnomer as it really isn't - but it's slightly closer ratio than the early box. However the ZX 'close ratio' nothing like what Bert posted above, which is a true close ratio box. There were three close ration comp boxes from what I understand ...

Good morning Nathan, Welcome to the Realm, and it’s good to see the car back. This particular car has been around, and has a few directly related threads. We look forward to your progress on the car. This one deserves saving. We look forward to your build thread and the completion of the car one day...

Re: OCTOBERFAST 2018

I'm in all weekends for a drive.
I'm also doing a track day on the 14th of Sept, hoping to get the jetting sorted - otherwise the EFI is going back on.
Looking forward to the cruise on the new surface.
