Re: 2018 Summer Drive

I’m pretty sure I’m nuts for getting up at this ungodly hour....
I wonder how far I can push my car down the street before I have to start it, trying not to wake up those I try to respect!

I’ll see the rest of you crazies soon.

I didn't order recently, but my Pilkington glass from a few years ago was a no-tint version.

.... Lets hope the smoke from the Okanagan fires does not come our way for our photo op. I cannot believe those poor people are going through that AGAIN! .... Just looked on the map, there is a 255 HA fire on Placer Mountain just east of Eastgate, been burning for 3 days, no current control on this...

Re: Turbos and B210 boosters

Regarding blocking off the bleeder nipples, I recall on one of my cars that I did as you suggested - bleed the brakes and then I tightened the screw for the last time and I literally cut the bleeder off flush - cutting in the direction that would tighten the thread - just in case :-) I believe I nee...

Re: engine dies like a switch was thrown

Intermittent electrical issues are tuff to locate. Did you have power and signal from the EI module itself back to the coil? And was there power at the coil itself? That’s a good place to start. There is a very good chance you just moved a conection or a connector somewhere in the process. There is ...

That's a really interesting car - and I love the name - Hakobird :-)

Is there any more information or photos on this machine?

I’ll assume it was just the transmission that hit the scrap pile :-)

So Robyn, in the end what did you figure out?

Re: Holden onto a nissan z

Now that would certainly set some people back, I would guess the photo is from Australia as the coupes are rare even there.

Dash looks great in the car though!

Mad Max fans would remember this as a Holden Murano.

Re: Larger OD yoke washer source

My source for fatener hardware used to be Fabory Metrican, as they had the best source locally for specialty items like this. I use a extra heavy washer on my rear adjustable camber toe brackets in a 10mm size that would work perfectly in an 8mm size for you or application. Only Fabory Metrical pull...

Re: Larger OD yoke washer source

I guess I'm the only lucky one to have this problem :( It’s possible that there is a lack of understanding to you needs. I do have a question for you concerning the application. Your looking for larger diameter washers, indicating there is more space between the components than in OEM form. One thi...

Re: WTB Pillar Vents

Anyone know where to get the white push in pieces to screw into? When I was building my brother car, the local auto body supply had a help type stant with all kinds of trim screw and snap items. And low and behold there were the exact size square nylon push in clips to screw right into. It was some...
