Re: Re-introduction?
I usually lurk and read without actually logging in on an iPad Air. Tonight the board index required logging in to read anything. Did the forum settings change today? Wasn’t this way this morning. So I tried logging in. Old password wouldn’t work. Password reset successful on first try. Best, Kurt

Mind sharing part number and source for the led bulbs you used for speedo and temp/fuel? Nice to be able to see them.
Thanks.

Re: 280zx rear control arms on a 510 crossmember
When I had TeamThump build a new rear x-member for the Strutless car in 2010, I bought a set of 280zx control arms to replace the ones on the car, only to find that the inner half shaft mounting flange length was different than the ones that were on the car (control arms themselves were the same). I...

cLSD or Torsen type.
FWIW, if one wheel is off the ground, the Torsen acts like an open diff.
I feel a viscous LSD is not a good choice for motor sports, so no, not worth it.

Re: Hello - Looking for some R160 info
Yes, you can do the button swap. LSDs use 11mm diam ring gear bolts while open units use 10mm, just in case you buy a 3.7 LSD and want to swap in an R&P from an open R160.

Re: Seat belt mounting location ???
Glad it worked out for you.
Sorry about the Datsport 4dr pic—I was referring to install pics in general.
All 510 seatbelt mounting holes have a 7/16-20 nut behind them, so you should be set.
Post pics when you are done...

Upper front seat belt mount is actually up in the headliner just rearward of the b pillar. See if this post helps (has photos): http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10343&hilit=Slodat+seat+belt&start=30 Many buy a retractable front seatbelt set with rigid female receivers and a...

Re: Wtb clean 1969 dash pad
If it's not going to be a show car, an abs dash cap for under $100 for a '68 works fine for a '69 if you don't mind the slight dip in the center. Google 1968 dash cap to see several vendors. Smooth down the ridges in the OEM cracked cap, smear on the adhesive, drop on the abs cap and weigh down over...

Re: mechanical LSD oil
Odd that the Subaru LSD oil would be NLA, though I read somewhere hat K0318Y0000 80-90W supercedes the K0305Y0900 straight 90W. Have you dropped by your local Subaru Dealer to ask what they are using now? Spec in STi LSD is 90W. An Amazon search shows Subaru oil is in stock here: http://www.amazon.c...
