Re: Dellorto DHLA knowledge

Another issue I realized after checking float level and fuel level is that the level is much higher on the main circuit side than the idle side due to the engine tilt.
So obtaining the 27mm fuel bowl level is tricky. Split the difference between sides or?

Here is what I have in the 40’s.

I have a set of 7850.1 holders.
And the jets that are crossed out above.
The 53 worked the best.
So wondering if I go lower on the jet or the holder to lean it out.
45 was too low. So maybe a 50?

Dellorto DHLA knowledge

I am working on improving my carb tuning and while I have somewhat of an understanding i still have some questions. 1 being, is there a relationship to changing an idle jet holder to changing an idle jet? Would going up or down one jet holder have the effect of 5 jet size changes for instance? I hav...

Re: Wagon rear turn signals not working.

Thanks for all of that. To answer some questions; My car has 3 bulbs in each tail light. Top is single filament, middle is double, bottom is single. Yes it has the round gauges. It is mostly original. Note, I just swapped in a 5 speed. Swapped pedal box, steering column etc. I did reuse the original...

Wagon rear turn signals not working.

I have a 1970 (10/69 production) wagon. Was automatic and now a 5 speed. Not sure if something changed during the conversion or the lights haven't been working properly before. The rear turn signals are not working properly. First I need to know which rear lights are which. I think it is; top bulb i...

Re: WTB: clutch release collar/bearing

Yeah I am missing the whole thing.
I can’t find it available online at any of the regular parts places.
Could try the dealer but I think it’s no longer available.

WTB: instrument panel trim part

I’m looking for the insert in the gauge panel that goes in place when there is no automatic transmission shifter linkage.
Didn’t realize at the time i pulled all the other manual transmission parts I needed this.
Thanks
