Re: WTB: Hood front edge molding

I bought mine at Z car depot a few years back. I see that they are out of stock on their website now, maybe call them to see if they will restock?

Re: Another 72 510

After many hours of sanding and prepping, the car finally got its color back. Now the whole car is painted including the roof, doors and 1/4 window frames.

Re: Another 72 510

Tyson did an awesome job at aligning all the body panels. The previous bodywork and paint on the main body was not as precise as I wanted it and Tyson also fixed up this as well. The previous paint was sanded back and started again. As many know these simple cars have very important body lines and i...

Re: Another 72 510

So to get this stalled project back up and running I consulted Tyson (Big Time Motors)to help me get this bodywork and paint complete. First thing that Tyson suggested was to open up the bottoms of the doors, as you can see there is rust hiding behind the seam! Tyson would sand blast this area and e...

Re: TA 71B #2 Tranny

Watched the video to about the 50 minute mark where he was installing the counter shaft with a ball peen hammer! I had to stop it there as that is a total no-no. (remember these are hardened) they will chip and or mushroom etc. best way is to use a dead blow hammer and while the center plate is moun...

Re: Another 72 510

Again this project has been stalled, (well kind of) 5 months since the last post. I have been working on re-wiring the car and making the remote battery a proper install. I have decided to hide the wires not only for the lighting system but for the engine controls. This takes lots of time and planni...

Re: Jeff's '70 2 Door

Nice work on the plumbing. its so much easier with the car on its side to build the lines etc. I installed the engine/trans and crossmember from the bottom using the rotisserie raised up rolled the car over top of the eng/trans and lowered the car down on to it. Almost as easy as using the hoist.

Nice work Jason, now the fun part can happen. Hope the rear floor mat will look nice with all that fresh paint?
