Re: Building a Morgan 3-Wheeler Replica
You know I had a dream of your 3-wheeler, I dreamed that it went into production and a few were sold, and that I bought one. I drove it in my dream; it was fun to drive

Re: My VG30-Powered Samurai
Yes, Julian, next few days will reinstall my front diff, but also I'm planning on a panhard bar for the front diff, to have precise steering and limit lateral movement of the front diff. With leaf springs, the only thing locating the diff housing are the leaf springs, no links there, so with the sha...

Re: My VG30-Powered Samurai
I've bought a 90's Nissan non-turbo 300ZX oil pan to replace my current oil pan. The current oil pan has the hump in the front of the engine, which interferes with the steering links and might get struck by the front diff. Here's how the old oil pan looked like: http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz...

Re: My VG30-Powered Samurai
Sure I could do that. I just wasn't sure members of this forum would be interested in Off-road videos.
I still have a bit of work on the 4WD system in the vehicle, once done and out off-roading, I'll post some pics and vids.

Re: My VG30-Powered Samurai
Some updates regarding my transmission problem. I tried to take the transmission out without touching the engine, but it turned out to be impossible, because of the tight Samurai body. So I had to remove the whole engine in order for me to get to the transmission. After removing the engine, I took t...

Re: Building a Morgan 3-Wheeler Replica
Just a question that popped up to my head: how will you reverse? Since motorcycles don't have reverse, unless it's got one of those modern electric reverse systems like in the new gold wing.

http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz159/iniazy/Samurai/2012-04-05085024.jpg Well there's something you don't see often if at all. That's a short 71B from a 720 truck but with a 71C front case from a VG30. Very interesting Yes exactly. The front case bolts right on. You seem to know your stuff real...
