Re: Looking for a certain model

Definitely a Mk2 Corona but slightly different than the one you found a picture of:

Re: WTB 720ST steering wheel hub!!!

Unfortunately I don't right now. There was an ST pickup that showed up at the local PnP last week but I stopped by the other day and someone else had already grabbed the hub and wheel.

Re: WTB 720ST steering wheel hub!!!

The ST wheel does use a unique hub that is different from the stock wheel (all one unit). The 720 ST hub takes a 6 hole wheel like a Nardi or other brands, just like the ST wheel is. If you want a Nardi you need an adapter/hub and the 720 ST one is prefect. The wheel I'm using is the same pattern as...

Re: Car Transport Carriers....

I know you're not still looking, but I used Jay's Auto Transport to bring my wagon from southern California up to the Seattle area. They're based out of Florida but ship to/from pretty much anywhere. I'm sure they just put contracts out there and drivers bid on them but I imagine that's what happens...

Re: New owner with some questions. SJ,CA

There were several different heads used on the l20b and the U67 is definitely one of them. Either way, any kit should work for any of the different stock heads that were used over the years.

Re: WTB Bumper Covers

You'll have to check the part number for your application, but there is a seller on eBay that sells complete sets: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MjM0WDI2NA==/z/2DIAAOxyzpdTjeRa/$_35.JPG http://www.ebay.com/itm/DATSUN-510-RUBBER-PAD-OVERRIDER-/321519816563?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item...

Re: WTB datsun 510 starter

The new one in the pic looks to be the correct one but it's hard to say for sure. The used on looks like a gear reduction starter and, if it's the correct one, would work fine if it's good. The number I gave you is the same one I picked up down in Vancouver a couple of months ago for my 510 with an ...

Re: WTB datsun 510 starter

It's hard to go too wrong for $30 especially if the OP needs something ASAP. I was in a bit of a jam myself stuck at a hotel down near Portland and was very happy that O'Reilly had one. I figure if I only get 2-3 years I'm still doing Ok with their warranty plus the fact that they're so damn easy to...

Re: WTB datsun 510 starter

I picked up one for my '71 from O'Reilly and it's been fine. I imagine one of the stores up in your direction would probably have one available. The part # is the same for your car, which is 16203. They show a price of $29.99 with a $5.40 core charge.

Are you sure you aren't confusing this site for another? Your first post ever on this site was the day after you joined back on 05/13/2013 with your intro post (below). Your first post in this thread mentions 2 years then you mention something that happened 3 years ago but you haven't even been a me...

Re: Interesting ebay Finds

Come on people, there are several sellers selling the same GPI radiator for a 510, all with prices under $200. Considering there is no best offer feature on the listing, my guess is that the seller modified their listing and it's just a typo. It makes no sense to ask $800 for something you've previo...
