In my world what you call struts are really called "uprights". A lot of things can have pre-load, differentials, sway bays, springs ect ect. That weld will not be braking. Not only that but the strut insert is an exact fit into the tubes ID. I had to cut the strut housig down. Changing the perch would not do anything except lower the car . I have shorter struts

Have not really driven it as the tires on it are so sketchy. Once i have the rear suspension sorted i will put the whammy on it and see how she handles. How is the bumpsteer on these once they have been lowered?
