Re: WTS 71-73 front seat belt reciever

Hey Bryon,

This one is from my '72. I replaced all of the front belts with Datsport belts last fall. It's all yours if you want it.

Russ.

That's terrible man. I sure hope things improve for you. Butters has always been one of my favorite 510's. My fingers are crossed that you never have to let her go.

Re: Cuban Missle Crisis!!!

The rubber bushings that isolate my fuel pump dried up and it made a terrible noise. Might want to check those if you have them also.

Welcome! Lets see some photos of your 240z and 510!

Can you not get that gasket through a dealer down there? I got one from a Nissan dealer in Canada not too long ago.

Re: Front sway bar mount question

It appears to be M8x1.25. When I got my car it didn't have a sway bar mounted in the front and in checking for you I've just discovered that one of the mounting holes has a broken bolt with the head missing in it. Bugger. One more thing to add to the list before I can start putting it back together...

Re: Keith Law's complete TALES FROM THE GREAT ROLLING DYNO

I love the photo of the smokie on the bun with the fire in the background. I've taken many of those over the years. So many that it's become a bit of a joke between me and my friends. Regarding wood waste, I know exactly what you mean. I bought my house about 4 1/2 years ago. It was lived in by the ...

Re: 1968 Vintage Mini-Bike

Looks like the top section of that bike frame is missing! I like the cool smile on the kid with the motorized bike and the sour mug of the sucker who has to pedal to get anywhere. Ha!

Great update and thanks for all the detail. Some of us haven't done this kind of thing before and any and all info on the process is helpful.

Re: On My Dime

The sill plates are better. That one looks decent in the photo because the glare from the polishing makes it harder to see all the nicks and dings that are very much still there.

Yes, the top mounting point for the belt is unchanged.

Re: On My Dime

Yeah, I tried them out briefly and it seems like the drop is just right for me. Datsport has never let me down yet. Their products that I have experience with seem well thought out, good quality, and tested. I'm a fan. The cost can sometimes be high but I know I'm paying for quality and great servic...
