Re: Fresh Restoration/Refresh 71 2dr for sale.

So I've discovered a way to make sure the car never sells! It's pretty simple really. All you have to do is include several (7 actually) pictures in the above webpage that include pictures that aren't of the car you're trying to sell, and better yet, lovely pictures of a truly ugly rusty monster wit...

Fresh Restoration/Refresh 71 2dr for sale.

Greetings once again fellow Realmer's. I spent the last winter and spring restoring/refreshing a lovely low rust (ain't no such thing as a rust free Datsun) straight 71 2 door. I received a partially rebuilt hi perf L20 (L22 internals, SSS carbs, fat cam etc) new suspension and steering components, ...

Pilkington Windshields - Easy and new Availability

Over on the Z forums someone pointed out that Pilkington has a new line of classic windshields that is coming to market soon. They spotted it on summit racing's website. The most astonishing thing was that for the S30 chassis, the price is set at $89 bucks! i checked and yes there is one for the 510...

Re: Knox Mountain Hillclimb 2018

Was nice to spend some time with a new crew from Edmonton running the #24 car, an nice 240z with a Rebello stroker.
Wasn't there Sunday to see how they did, but I know they had fun!

Re: 240MM clutch experience

The 74-78 280z 2+2 and the 82-83 ZX turbo's used a 240mm clutch. The zx turbo's also had a borg warner 5 speed, but I'm pretty sure the clutches were not different from the earlier 2+2 clutches. A quick Rockauto part number comparison will check that. Now compatibility with the KA flywheel is anoth...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

My son has signed up for the Sunday autocross at the Calgary airport. You should drop out and run those sticky tires. I'm sure he would like to see another 510 there. Justin would be easy to spot. Last time I think he was the oldest car by over 20 years. Now there's a good idea! Haven't done that i...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

Added some freshly powder coated 15" turbo Z rims with a better offsets than the prior Panasports, and some fresh Toyo R1R sticky's in 195/50-15.

Even had some purdy "Datsun" stickers to hide the unsightly "Z" emblem on the center caps.

Re: Rear wheel stud help

I think Nismo has some 60mm studs too. That's pretty much 2.5 inch, maybe that's what Dave is supplying.
