Just curious, slowerthantime when did you put your order in?
June I believe about 2 weeks after it was announced on the Realm that Summit was selling them.
Just feeling a bit passed over as you got yours before me, although I ordered before you. I started the darn thread!

Re: Rack And Pinion exploration

i have now received my rack and bushings from Motorsport-tools. Rack looks great. I ordered both their poly and rubber bushings. Well the red poly ones fit the rack very well, while the rubber ones, well, not so much. The appear a bit big on the ID. Maybe when clamped in the x member they will tight...

Re: All Japanese Classic '18 - August 26th - Waterfront Park

So glad to hear the event went well, and continues to prosper. Going to have to rent out the airport next year! Actually keep the venue, cap the registration, and now you know the max available. I'll book my spot for next year for sure. Great job guys, missed being there.

Rack bushings from motorsport-tools.com. Re: Rack And Pinion exploration

Thanks for the feedback. After I realized the links were ALL wrong, I did wonder if that was intentional.... Of course. That 2.4 will fit in there if I have to use a crowbar and a hood scoop or trim some (more) off the valve cover. Not going to start re-doing the engine now. The sway bar is the only...

Re: Rack And Pinion exploration

Alright, I did the deed. Can't wait. I have some questions about the links provided for example racks that work, on the V3 installation guide page. The first three links in the Economy section that say LHD 2.4, LHD 2.0 and RHD 2.0 seem to open links that show racks with different ratios and differen...

Re: Rack And Pinion exploration

This stuff is incredible. Can't wait to get rid of dat box. Even discovered the spare L20 in the corner has a front sump pan! Yahoo! Now to hope the super tall 2.4 L motor fits between the hood and crossmember, but at least spacing the entire Xmember down a 'tad' moves EVERYTHING down, well, except ...

Re: The Bronze - '69er Resto Project and continuing build-up.

Byron, I have a supplier for 8mm ball end sockets. Midwestcontrolproducts.com. They have some great stuff. There 8mm ball and sockets have M5 threads unlike the stock M4 threads, but you still get to make your own small links with M5 threaded rod. i've also successfully soldered Lokar throttle kit c...
