Re: Bike rides

I have a feeling it is going to be a year with not many drives for myself. Having to stay in Vancouver overnight is going to be difficult. I have already put on over 2k since the conversion but most of that is just driving up and down the coast and commuting.

Re: Bike rides

I have given up on most camping heading east. We used to go to a bunch of places around Vernon but they are all so busy now you feel like you in the city. We started to head up to Powell River a few years ago and struck gold. There are a bunch of small campgrounds that are not busy at all on the wee...

It will bolt up to it but it does not fit through the rear cross member.

Nice job. It's looking good. Stick with the 4.625. It is the cheapest way to make a car faster.

Re: Swapping from a SR20DET to a L series engine question

Is there a kit to put fuel injection on a L series engine? There is no complete kit that I have seen but everything you need is easily available from the Aftermarket. I used Jenvey ITB'S, Link Atom II ECU and one six industries cam/crank sensor. Then all you need is a map sensor, water temp sensor,...

Re: Swapping from a SR20DET to a L series engine question

I'm pretty happy with my L with injection. Sure it doesn't have the same intake howl as when the mikuni's were on it but now it runs like a dream and it takes a pretty well built SR to keep up with me. That being said with all the work that would go into changing a SR car back to L you would be bett...

Wow those lasted pretty good. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Those wheels do look good.

Re: Vancouver BC wheel alignment

Make sure you know what you want for specs before you go in. A lot of places won't have the factory specs if that is what you want and if you want a racier setup most places will have no idea.

Re: rear crossmember removal questions

As I also found out there are 2 different models of the rear control arms. I had one of each on my car for a bit and one side had about +2 of camber and the other had about -2. both sides were at the same height. I think they are 68+69 then 70 on.

Re: Five-Hundred and Ten

A few years back I had someone back into my car and do about 12k worth of damage. It ended up costing me $900. Hopefully you get someone who knows what they are dealing with. The adjuster I was working with was great. He even knew Andy from back in the Westwood days.
