Re: KKS Aluminum Radiators - Anyone Tried them?

I might be in the market for a rad as well. Sure would be nice if it fit like stock and I could use the fan shroud. I priced getting a stock one record 3 row $800 cdn. I'd like to feel safe running my 2.3 this summer. It's been 10 years off the road and I'm planning on a few road trips. I have a ch...

Re: 2.3L of fun

I definately don't take the chart as an exact representation. It is mainly to show the difference between the different types of diffs that Cusco makes.

Re: the old stinky diff......

I'm curious about this math. Does the Cusco diff come with instructions that include some formulas? The diff doesn't have a much for instructions and what it does have is in Japanese....it looks like someone's 30 year old photocopier made the copies of it also. I read a bunch online from people who...

the old stinky diff......

Well after collecting parts for more than a year I am finally going to get the new diff put together this week. R180 with 4.6 Datsun gear set and Cusco 1.5/2 way TYPE-RS Limited Slip Differential. The math says I should have about 59 to 61lb-ft of initial torque by how many springs I put in it. I am...

Re: NANKANG AR-1 group buy

I have some details on what is available. image.png Jordan they do have that size, I can ask about the price. Also Mike (Cartel) is talking to the western distributor so he may get some better pricing. I have known mike for a while and I think it would be good to have someone local to deal with for ...

Re: 2.3L of fun

Thanks Dan, my ride height is within a couple of mm of where Andy set it so I am happy with it. I measured the toe with just a couple of pieces of angle iron and a tape measure and it looks like I have over an inch of toe out. I am going to be tackling that when I get back home from Vacation. There ...

Re: Front short strut inserts whats available in 2019?

If you are going to track the car or even drive with some gusto on the winding back roads you will bottom out the suspension with 200lb springs. Mine did just driving down Broadway when I hit a bump at a bus stop.

Re: Front short strut inserts whats available in 2019?

I used the regular KYB and the Koni sport ones. Below 200lb springs the regular kyb worked well enough. The Koni sport worked well with 200lb and with 300lb springs. I have the koni race ones currently.

Re: QA1 camaro rear shocks

Specialty engineering has a drop in spring that he sells. Stock diameter and shorter to lower the car. I have weight jackers so I have 2.5" diameter 6" long Eibachs.

Yes I have the non coil over single adjustable. They work great with my 1100lb springs.
