Re: 2.3L of fun

Best time was a 40.9. It was a very fast miata on Hoosier slicks. Fastest time not on slicks was just above 43.

Re: 2.3L of fun

I went out to my first autoX on Saturday. It was drizzling the whole way to the event and through the first heat. I was driving in the 3rd and 6th heats. There were just a few puddles left on track for my first time on track and it was dry for my 2nd heat. I started at a 55.931 and was down to 48.76...

Re: CV Failure

Just to be clear on my comment that I would not buy it again. No grease escaped from my CV's. The problem I have with them were the tolerances in the splines and the rest of the machined parts. Having 5+ degrees of rotation in parts because of crappy tolerances is my problem. Mine show that they hav...

Re: WTB: 720 FS5W71B external shifting components.

When shifting 2 to 3 or 4 to 5 because of the short throw and increased effort it would end up 1 or 3. The same was true for downshifting. 5 to 4 you end up hitting reverse often and 3 to 2 it ends up hitting 4 often. If you are driving hard it only exasperated the problem because you are trying to ...

That shifter kit is horrible to use. I tried it and went back to stock pretty quickly. I shortened my stock shifter by an inch and it feels great now.

As it stands I am going for the autox on the 22nd. It looks like the course is about a minute normally depending on the car.

Re: Fort Casey drive 2017

The last one I signed up for turned out to be a really rainy day. My tires would not cope with rain very well. This time it looks like it will be nice. If I like it I'm going to sing up for a few more. Having another 510 out would 've great.

Re: Photobucket trying to blackmail me.

I just read the statement from photobucket and they launched this new service on July 6th. It is $400 per year for the 3rd party service which is ridiculous. They are going to be loosing a massive amount of business because of this. Everyone I know who is currently using them is changing to some oth...
