Re: FS: 80s Subaru 3.7 R160 Clutch LSD

Toylet your price of $500usd in Arizona may have been good but in Ottowa these things are not easy to come by. $750 CAD is a reasonable price for what he has and where he is. I would not sell one for that little. There is no need to keep saying he is asking too much. We get it. You think it is too m...

Yup but not a CLSD. I can get an open R180 for $200.

For the axle stubs you can look at silverline motors. They are what I got.

Re: Autocross Alignment Specs

Look at the Yokohama A048's or A052 if they are 16's. As long as you are not driving in the rain they are amazing. I got almost 10000k out of my set of A050's.

Re: FS: 80s Subaru 3.7 R160 Clutch LSD

R180 CLSD's are going for $1000-$1200 CAD from what I have found around here. That is if you can find them. For the R160 I think you have the right price. If you can find R180 CLSD for that price you should buy it.

Re: Autocross Alignment Specs

With 3.7 you will need some pretty big power. I have 4.44 and am building up a 4.6. I went down to 4.11 for one of our drives and my car felt like it gained 500lb.

Re: Autocross Alignment Specs

I had the same issue with my fenders. When I got the front end redone on my car after an accident I got them properly trimmed so they look almost stock but let the 205 tires clear with ample room for more caster. You can see them here in my build thread. http://the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&...

Re: Autocross Alignment Specs

I have mine set close to the above but with more camber in the front. I have about 4 in the front and about 2 in the back. I run the same tires as Keith but I like a slightly lower tire pressure. 5.5 caster also. Coming out of corners you just have to let the wheel slide in your hand, you never have...

Re: The Red Baron

I know I asked Andy about mine running at 10 up to about 5000 and getting to low 11's at 7 to 8000. I asked if we should lean it out and make some more power.....he said sure we could do that but do you want to blow it up? I know Robello knows what they are doing. I quess it is just a difference in ...

Re: The Red Baron

That is really impressive. It will be interesting to see what your drivetrain loss is. What compression is it? With 10.5:1 mine will run 94 octane or 91 with a bit of octane booster.

Re: 2.3L of fun

I have been trying to keep it as light as I could. After a couple of long drives this year I decided it was time for something. The sludge is 8lb per gallon bucket when dry. I think I will used the full 2 gallons that I have. Right now it has 1.5 gallons down. Putting down just 1 gallon would be eno...

Re: 2.3L of fun

I have put on quite a bit of the Spectrum Sludge now and it makes a huge difference. Tapping on anything just results in a dull thud. It would be a nicer finish if you used the spray on one but that was not really an option. You can see the brush strokes on it as I did it. I may try to add another l...
