Re: Pilkington Windshields - Easy and new Availability

[/quote] My windshield came in yesterday so I measured it's thickness with my metric vernier caliper and 6.5mm or .255" thick and my chinese glass was 5.8mm or .228" for us Americans who still enjoy the standard system  That's a difference of .027" or .68mm for our brothers and sisters up in ...

Luckily I had him stand next to me when I opened the box and found the glass shattered on the corner from them dropping the box on its corn...

Recommend claying to check piston to valve clearance. The JE Pistons used for my SRVE setup has large relief valves set up for N1 camshafts. Lock out the rockers to check secondary lobes for critical clearance

Re: WCR/Futofab CV axle boot?

I found this while doing some research a while back and will be making some for future use. Pretty smart idea for any CV Axle.

Thanks. I will have to wait for Dave to reply back to my email I sent a few days ago since there are too many options to consider.

Does anyone know what type of CV boot kit is used for the WCR/FutoFab CV axle kit? Is it the EMPI # 9994 on all four corners?

Re: A87 Camshaft identification request

Currently running a L18 block. I tried to snap a photo of the stamping on the back of the camshaft but the stamp is so faint its really had to show up on photos. Looks like it has the square protrusion you mentioned in the middle of the camshaft. WIth that said is a L20 camshaft? https://i.imgur.com...
