Re: Nissan Bluebird Coupe (JCCA Race Car)

It's going to be saved one day.

Here is a walk around wrapping video of it from a few years ago.

Thanks, it's rather special, only about 3 of them over here. It is a 12a bridge port, Weber IDA 48. New Zeland import. Sadly full of rust :(

Re: Nissan Bluebird Coupe (JCCA Race Car)

Are those Sanyo Kiki/OER carbs? They are the OER (SK Engineering) 45mm carbs on a Kameiari intake. Purchased direct from them in Japan. No idea what they're like. A copy of the Weber design, except externally adjustable float level as well as an adjustable accelerator pump so should be easier to tu...

Hi Frank, if Naomi doesn't reply on here, I can send her a message for you. I'm in the UK but about 170 miles (that's far in the UK) away so can't help I any other way.

Re: Nissan Bluebird Coupe (JCCA Race Car)

Photobucket has ruined this thread. I will go through it all one day and fix the broken links. Time flies, I've been traveling again, hikes an active volcano, went for a bike ride on it too, done a road bike race, a charity ride, said goodbye to summer and now off work until the new year. Time to ge...

Quiet day on the site..must be winter...at least in the Pacific Northwest. This is what my brother contends with on occasion, living in a remoter area of Northern Vancouver Island. At least this time it did not throw the barbecue off the porch. What. beautiful animal. Not sure how I'd feel about fi...

Re: buying a Datsun....

Where are they now? Almost all of them rusted away no doubt except a few that have been squirrelled away, you know the type, the ones who have a yard full of them, will never sell or restore.

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

That RX-4 is so cool! I had a 4dr one back in the 90's, mine was a 13B - dead stock right down to the reactor still bolted to the side of it... much fun! I don;t honestly think I have seen one in person in over 20 years here in Vancouver. I have seen 1 R100, a couple RX2 and RX3's, but no RX4 at al...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

Not today, last Saturday. I used a Mazda RX-4 to tow my Bluebird out of the garage for some Autumnal sunshine while I bolted some more parts onto it to get it ready to ship to the exhaust builders shop. Couldn't find where Mercedes Benz hide the towing eye in my C Class Coupe so had to use the RX-4....
