Re: 2.3L of fun

I'm guessing the bucket mod is similar to fitting for the BMW ellipsoids. The wiring would be incredibly helpful though. Thanks in advance.

Re: 2.3L of fun

Interesting take on the 5.75" headlight. I like the idea though as it combines the highbeams into the lowbeam enclosure, freeing up two headlight ports for other use. I'm wondering how you adapted the headlight to the 510 buckets? Also, what about the wiring? Would you be willing to do a how-to...

Just noticed you are in Durango....great part of the state. We like to visit there periodically and are due for another visit.

Re: moved back to CO, time to raise Tweety back up

Welcome back to Colorado!! What part of town are you located in? There are a few of us 510'rs here in Colorado, but not many. I would be interested in the areas you plan on exploring in the 510. My Xterra is due for some offroad exploration.

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?

Reflected upon the stress of being scammed by a local mechanic while looking through some info regarding my engine rebuild. Ughh....I hate that guy. Anyways, at least I got a decent engine with some decent numbers out of it. Dyno attached.

Re: 280ZX Brake calipers sourcing problems

Hey, Can you post a picture of the caliper you are after? I am in NZ so freight might be a killer but if desperate. Cheers Thanks for the offer. But I'll pass at this time...will just keep looking. When I find myself in NZ...hopefully some day soon...I'll leave some extra space in the luggage and l...

Re: 280ZX Brake calipers sourcing problems

Just an update on this issue. After doing some research I identified Centric as a supplier for 280zx rotors and calipers. I chose them as their listings included all rotor options and their calipers included the mounting bracket. I was looking forward to getting these new parts and getting the 280zx...

Re: Assessing Amperage

Thanks everyone. Seems as though my fuse box is an odd-ball from what is noted in the DQ. Four...4!!! wires exiting from under the fuse box. Why is it that wiring usually takes the most punishment from previous owners of 510s? I'm hoping one of the extra leads is from factory installed A/C. I'm goin...

That's ingenuity right there. Too bad I'm not local. Someone should be able to use industrial-grade lines for something.

Assessing Amperage

Good evening Realm. The other day, I removed my fuse box for a vinegar bath. I may need to do another bath, as there is still some grime to be lifted. But, upon inspection, it looks as though I have had at least two fuses fail where fire resulted; melting portions of the fuse box. So, this got me th...

Re: Anyone know this Aus/NZ Race car?

I like that spoiler too. Especially the alternative way they mounted it. If the spoiler is reproduced, one should make sure the spoiler is placed far enough back so the trunk can still be opened. Oh, and did you try to decipher the telephone number on the for sale sheet? Looks like Jeremy or James?
