Re: Devil in a red dress.

Added some Fatmat sound deadener that I bough a year or two ago to the driver side firewall and floor pans. Gonna finish it off tomorrow. Then add the beauty tape to seal up the seams so it looks really clean. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48083090296_175be94936.jpg soundd by v p , on Flickr

Re: Removable radiator support

Byron510 Would that set up work with a cheery picker? Thats all I have to pull and drop in my engine. Thanks I was wondering the same thing. Plus , my garage ceiling is pretty low. I always have to use it outside. I don't think the weight would be the problem but that the legs would be difficult to...

Re: Devil in a red dress.

Did some TIG welding at my buddy house today. Cant wait to get my own machine. Anyhow welded on some male end AN fittings today for my heater core set up. Shit was a PITA. That old piping was not friendly at all. My buddy helped me fab up a new oil drain for the turbo. I gotta make sure, the next ti...

Re: Removable radiator support

If your on IG wasabi_1600 from Australia has done this. He cut and made a mold of his original rad support section in carbon fiber. Pretty slick, but very similar to what zkars did. Im also tired of pulling the motor from the top.

Re: Headliner install

I just wanted to say thank you for posting the colors and lengths of the headliner bows. With some warm water and a paper towel I was able to wipe the ends clean to find the red, green and blue bows. Now I have to measure the two with no color to put them in the correct spot.

Re: Devil in a red dress.

Cleaned and prepped the metal dash about a month ago. Here's the only photo I found of that process. Primer and painted it satin black. It had a lot of surface rust. Also after I pulled the metal frame out I actually got to see what the original color to my 2 door nice yellow. https://live.staticfli...

Re: Devil in a red dress.

Installed the brake lines. Had to bend one a little so it didn't rub against the clamp. Pretty happy how this install went. I still have the spacers that need to be cut for the LCA's and install outer tie rods. Made some good progress this week so Im pretty happy for once lol. Also pulled out me hea...

Re: Devil in a red dress.

Well yesterday I cut the column tube 25mm. I cut it in small section and kept fitting it till I got right. I still have to make the slice on the tube for the clamp. Spoke to James from JBCW and showed him some photos. Looks like I have to rotate the bottom U-jont 90* and im good to go with this sect...

Re: Devil in a red dress. 1970 2 door money whore!!

So I taped off the 25mm section on the column that needs to be cut and removed, before you can install the clamp to secure the JBC steering column in place. I still have to make the slits in the column tube as well. Brake lines needed a little tweaking which I went ahead and did. Only one of them ne...
