Really? A quarter of an inch gap !!! I hope you meant .025". Set them (the 11 series) at .040" and go for itbertvorgon wrote:I'm going to start at 0.250" and go from there, really check out what sort of gap this sucker can jump....

The Z (6 cyl) pump and the 510 share the same diaphragm, doesn't fit well and offers no advantage for performance. Want performance? Go low pressure electric.

Oil pump primed and installed along with the distributor. Take the spark plugs out, remove the valve cover, using a remote stater switch, let the starter spin the motor until it squirts oil out of the cam or spray bar. If you have a mechanical fuel pump, the carb will get filled up so it will start ...
