Which Koni Yellow In GC Rear Coilovers?

Just as the topic states. I’m looking to redo suspension bits and would like to run Koni yellow adjustables up front, but the idea of mismatching everything really irks me. I know it may not be an issue, but I like things to match. I see in the description for rear setups that the Ground Control kit...

Re: Muffler selection. Magic solution needed.

I've been happy with the setup I put on my car. The stock 4-2-1 SSS header into 2.25" mandrel bent. I have a 9" resonator up toward the front and a Magnaflow 4x6 Oval muffler. To be fair, compared to the 1.75" exhaust that was on it, I did think it was very loud at first. It doesn't bother me anymor...

Re: 14x6.5 & 14x7 fitment

Hopefully this will help you, although it will partially anecdotal. I use to have 14x7 +8 and 14x7.5 0 on my car. Relatively speaking to what you are looking to run that puts your wheel faces retracted 5mm in the front and retracted 16mm in the rear. My tires were 175 width so all measurements being...

Re: NANKANG AR-1 group buy

I'm in the market for a set of tires for another set of wheels. I'm running 185/60r14 Nankang NS-2Rs on my current wheels and they perform amazingly. Do you think with the stiffer sidewalls of the AR-1 I could fit 225/45r15 on a 6.5"? When are you needing to make the purchase by and can shipping be ...

Re: Diff swap: STI R160 LSD 4.44 Suretrac

I actually just went outside and took it apart for the first time. The axles I got look like a Suretrac, the specs list a suretrac, but the diff is a VLSD ver 1.

Re: Diff swap: STI R160 LSD 4.44 Suretrac

Have you gotten anywhere on this? I have an R160 Suretrac 4.11 sitting in my garage that I picked up a few months ago. Looking to put it into my car as well here soon. It'd be nice to be able to machine a groove, but I did grab the axles from the car it came out of just in case i needed to use them ...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

I did get a few things worked on, but I haven't gotten too far. I seem to hit roadblocks on everything, mostly my fault. First thing I did was put in the eDizzy, but I'm thinking I will need to get a new pedestal or maybe play some more with it and move the plug wires one tower over. For now I can o...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

Today I decided to tackle the valve stem seals. I was going to do it yesterday before I took all those pictures, but I left my spark plug socket with my other tools in the states. So I picked one up and tackled the job today. Good news is the plugs verified my carbs are tuned correctly. I utilized t...

Re: So I drove around Japan looking for a Bluebird...

First off I apologize for the insanely long update. I'm finally back home from my deployment. I have some time off work now and plan to spend most of it with my family, but did pick up a few car parts to stick on the Bluebird. Ironically, key parts were backordered that I purchased, so I'm kind of s...
