Re: Need help identifying this tranny

It is clocked wrong. I had not considered a Z-series. I could bolt this trans to my L-20 but the shifter would stick out the passenger side of the tunnel, making for some uncomfortable moments during shifting - especially the passenger. Thanks for the feedback. Now, what to do with a Z-Series dogleg.

Need help identifying this tranny

Thanks in advance. Got a dogleg for my 510, but the bell housing didn’t line up properly. Any help identifying it is appreciated. Need to know so I can sell it. The markings on the tail housing just say 63A#2. The bell housing is stamped ZL63A#2.

FS - 510 Factory AC

Testing the waters. I have a factory AC housing from my 72 4 dr. Complete, no cracks or damage of any kind. Fan unit is included. I do not have the compressor/bracket or hoses, only the under-dash part.

$10,000 obo ( )

PM if interested.

Re: WTB - Dogleg

Great point Three B's...I'm PMing with RMS. I'm sure he'll verify that condition for me. I plan to autocross/hillclimb the car and the track and hills I run on are all 2nd and 3rd gear. I used a dogleg in an 510 I had many years ago and I absolutely loved the pattern.

WTB - Dogleg

I know this is a stretch, but I'm hoping to find a shortie L-series dogleg. Converting a '72 4dr 510 w/L20B from automatic. Need clutch pedal, shifter and fork also. I've seen too many code variations to be sure which is right...but the one I'm looking for is FS5*63A (not sure if the * is a W or a C...

510 Again

Hey all, Getting back into the Dime scene after 20 years of being away. Picked up a decent 72 4 Dr and planning to do some autocrossing and sight-seeing with it. Have several suspension and drive-train mods planned (LSD swap, dog-leg, coilovers, etc...) then someday, body and paint. Car has a rebuil...
