Alright guys. Just purchased the following. L16 engine 521 L16 4 speed 521 Weber 32/36 This came with purchase; manifold, used electrical distributor, and radiator. All from a 521. Just need to find the correct oil fan and pick up(?) And of course.... all the wiring haha think they sell this online(...

In short - yes. But you will need an L16 510 oil pan and pick up, I believe there are minor differences. The gears in the 521 transmission will be slightly different with lower 1st and second gears, making the 2-3 shift a bit taller. There might be a difference inthe fan onthe water pump, best to u...

FWD cars tend to mount their engines very differently from RWD applications. FWD block probably won't accept a RWD distributor, either. Well it will be difficult to run with the distributor sticking into the heater core. Until this is sorted, the custom oil pan and engine mounts don't matter. Find a D21 Hardbody KA '86-97?
