Fastenal has everything I need, the thing is the 3 local suppliers refuse to sell me anything...

Anyway, thanks everyone!

Metric Fasteners

Hey guys, Where do you buy your metric fasteners in Canada? All the suppliers around here only sell to businesses... Places like Home Depot only have imperial fasteners... McMaster won't ship to Canada for individuals either... I'm stuck and i can't reassemble my front end with all those damaged fas...

Re: 2.3L of fun

Do you have a picture of the front end with the lights installed? I am looking for a similar setup with cheap chinese knockoffs black housings harley lights.

Re: 1971 2 Door 70s build

Thanks! I skipped this one due to the reviews... Looks like they have 2 with the 5speed in stock.

I'll keep an eye out for your build! Keep it up

Re: 1971 2 Door 70s build

I'am also planning an SR20DE swap. Which JDM shop did you get them from and what did you pay for it if you don't mind? I went last week to look for a set of wheels and started asking for engine deals. They pretty much all told me it's hard to find a SR20DE these days in Japan...

Re: Steering knuckle useless screw?

Oh wow thanks. I feel a bit dumb.

I just want to rebuild everything with clean parts. They are a little bent/ heavily rusted. I guess it's fine like that, I'll just clean them up and pain over it.

Steering knuckle useless screw?

So I disassembled my whole front end this week. Started cleaning/painting/replacing everything. I've looked everywhere to find an answer regarding the steering knuckle, but I can't find anything... I obviously did not have to remove them to take the car apart. What are these screws and nuts used for...

Re: Fred's 73 2dr 510

Yeah, I've seen the Autech SR20DE 6 speed but its out of my price range. I was thinking of the regular SR20DE 5 speed. They usually sell for 1200$ around here in fairly good/running condition. If I rebuild one of those beaten up KA + tranny I'm looking at a good 2000$. Which makes me lean towards a ...

Re: Fred's 73 2dr 510

So... I didn't have much time to get started on the car because of major renovations in the house i need to get done first, but I did manage to start shopping. I bought a pair of 280zx front struts, T3 coilover weld on kit + camber plates and tranny mount. I've also been looking for a KA/5 speed MT....

Re: Fred's 73 2dr 510

Oh wow nice find. It's definitely not the same car, but quite similar indeed. Both from Quebec, Same colors, exactly the same roll cage and wheels... Little update, I am finally ready to work on the car, starting to sort things out. Everything I brought back with me is mixed up in many boxes. Once t...

Re: Fiberglass front valance

I just bought a 510 shell with a brand new fiberglass valance. I have no idea where it's from. I doubt I can help, but I can take pictures if you want. The fitment looks pretty good.

Re: Fred's 73 2dr 510

I bought it from a Simon near Quebec city. I don't know who owned it before that. I guess I can ask him. He already told me but I can't remember. Greg doesn't ring a bell.

Re: Fred's 73 2dr 510

I think there is an old build posting here on the realm by the kid you bought the car from. I'm curious, I'll try to dig the old threads. It would have to be at least 6 years old though, maybe 10. Don't worry about the bin, you're not the first to tell me  The red one is KA24DE? I quickly che...

I didn't pay much attention to the wheels, never noticed this detail. Good to know, thanks!
