Re: Replacing those old dirty...umm missing lines?
I'll post some pictures once I get all of my stuff in. Thus far I've only received the proportioning valve and my 2 boxes of fittings. Still waiting on the tubing bender and the line. I ordered 25ft of the stuff, so I think I'll have enough to make some mistakes haha.

Re: Replacing those old dirty...umm missing lines?
My advice is primarily not to use steel lines. The newer Copper/Nickle alloy lines are better, softer and easier to work with. May be too late for you now if you've ordered. I'm thinking about routing the lines on the inside of the firewall to try and keep things clean in the bay. For anyone that has replaced all the steel line...

Re: Somewhat new dime owner
I had my share of options on the motor. I really wanted to stick my spare rb25 in it, but no matter how hard I thought about it...it didn't work. Then there was a spare 1UZ in the shop with a W58 trans. So we stuffed that in, and surprisingly it fit VERY well. The drivers side manifold wouldn't clea...

https://i.imgur.com/fM0vodW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/i7L5mef.jpg https://i.imgur.com/1XJ4GbS.jpg I was able to scoop up a 71 sedan at a bargain price. Body is pretty clean with minimal surface rust. However...it came as a rolling chassis with all the interior, trim, and everything else in boxes. So ...

Somewhat new dime owner
Hey there guys and gals. Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been in love with dimes for over 15 years, but up until recently I've never found "the one". It just so happens I had stumbled across a star crossed tale, and I figured I'd help out the previous owner and start my saga with...
