Re: Steering box and arm pitman arm needed
I just checked my 72 wagon, and the steering box that I picked up at the swap meet, and they both have the same numbers on them.
48013 21400. D246L
Are you sure about 48010 23155 for a wagon?
also how do you determine if they are not functioning properly?

Re: Carpet choices 2022..?
I bought a kit from an Ebay seller and it was nothing more than 1/8th inch material. You could tell that he had patterns for lots of different cars and just cut them out with a pair of scissors! Another $100 wasted.

Re: Steering box and arm pitman arm needed
I picked up a used steering box at a swap meet.
I was going to send it to Redhead Gear to be rebuilt.
I want to use the car while the swap meet box is being rebuilt.
I own a 72 wagon.
How can I identify the difference between a sedan and a wagon steering box?

Re: Inner front door handles
Does anyone know what screw size (or equivilant) will work for installing these handles? I have one set and have not found any others like them at the store. Thanks.

1 inch brake master cylinder installation question
I was told by some Datsuners that I could improve my braking by installing a 1 inch brake master cylinder. I purchased one through datsuns.com? Doing some more online reading, I also read that I might experience a hard pedal with a 1 inch MC. I do not believe I have any room for a brake booster with...

Re: WTS 1968 510 2 door for sale,Massachusetts
Correct me if I'm wrong but how could you be committed to purchase a car through Bat? Aren't they just a middle man? a way to hook up sellers and buyers? Is their a legal document that you agree to that commits you to purchase a car when you bid at Bat? Sure you would pay bat the fee, but if you dec...

Anybody get flooded out?
Anybody get flooded out in BC? Noticed the lower Okanagan river, south of Omak Washington was very muddy and had been higher than on the day we drove it on November 20th. The storm must have also dumped farther east, but did not get much media coverage. The amount of cars lost must be staggering, ho...

Fuel tank float sending unit wiring question.
I have a gas tank fuel float that I took from a cheap aluminum gas tank that I recently purchased. The new tank is basically the same as my custom (cheap aluminum) gas tank that is in the car now, which never had a fuel float. So I took the fuel float from the new tank and installed it in the old ta...

Re: What 8 inch front springs do others use?
If I get adjustable front control arms,
do I also need adjustable tension bars (control tie rod/bar)? CX racing kit for $437.75
Or Techno Tuning GTX2 Front control arms and TC rods for $595.
Do I also need adjustable camber plates? DP racing for $305.
Are there other options for less $$?
Thanks.

Re: What 8 inch front springs do others use?
Thanks bertvorgon! I installed 200 lb springs that I received today. Had to raise the adjustment nut 1-1/2 inches (it was right on the bottom with the 380 lb springs) to get back to what height the front end was before. Took it out for a test drive and felt good, did not hit the factory bumpstops. T...

Re: What 8 inch front springs do others use?
This is a great education for me. Yes it's a wagon and the rear axle is a 4 link setup, which I will be questioning in a subsequent suspension topic. I do have a front sway bar. The amount of the "shock" (are they also referred to as a damper, or strut insert?) piston shaft that is exposed...
