Re: Acccusump info?

Mounting: I am planning to mount it in the trunk and run -10 braided steel line (To be SCCA compliant) to the engine any reason not to do this? Hot oil lines running through the car? Where would you mount the solenoid valve - up front, or way out back? I was thinking out back Ultimately, I think th...

Acccusump info?

I am ready to order the Accusump for my car and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them cuz I have a few questions. 1. Canton or Moroso? anyone know the difference and which one is better? from what I have read so far it sounds like the moroso ones only have screw on ends on their "...

Re: WTS - 510 Center Console - $150 - DC

Yea, I have a console just like that (with a NOS pad) in the Yellow car but for some reason thought it would be a good idea to cut the front part off. Now I obviously wish I hadn't

Running AP racing 4 piston calipers in front (I think they are an application usually used on formula atlantics) and wilwood billet dynalite 2 piston rear calipers.

Re: Crossing the border with a car on a trailer

Fantastic! Thanks for the information!
This is a good friend of my brothers who lived down here and recently moved to Canada for work. My understanding is that the car was never registered in Canada.
Never thought about the contraband aspect

Crossing the border with a car on a trailer

So, A guy my brother knows is giving him a non-running Miata. The car is in Vancouver but is still registered in Washington. (The guy just moved to Canada.) My brother and I are planning to run up there with my truck to get the car and bring it back. Anyone know what we are going to need in order to...

Re: Tie Rod End Taper

couple of other ways to go.. Speedway sells those bolts in both 7 and 10 degree tapers. Since the bolts are only $10 each you could just buy both and if neither fit keep the one that is closest and buy the corresponding tapered reamer. I believe I drilled my arms to use a non tapered bolt.... or if ...

Not sure what the taper is but if you can't find a match Speedway sells tapered reamers in the right sizes.

Re: CAS for a KA?

By "Distributor Parts" I mean the parts that distribute the spark. e.g. the cap, rotor and tower the rotor mounts to. All I need is the CAS and the uhh CAS (Crank and cam angle sensors) so I do not want to have the cap and rotor there doing nothing. Yes, this is entirely an appearance thin...

Re: CAS for a KA?

I am using a haltech ecu and need both a crank and a cam sensor so I can run sequential injection and possibly coil on plug (or at least wasted spark). I thought that it would be easiest to use the Nissan CAS for now since it has both but I do not want the distributor cap sitting there with no plug ...

CAS for a KA?

I plan to use the CAS (Crank angle sensor) from my KA but will not be using the distributor.
Does anyone know if there is a another motor with a CAS only setup that works in a KA? or if there was ever a KA with coil on plug?
Does an SR CAS fit?

THX..

Re: Max Street Compression Ratio

I have been lost down the coatings hole for a while now since it is time to start building the KA. It is really hard to seperate fact from fiction in this area.... The HPV-1 I have does not have any provision for knock control (other than cockpit adjustable timing) Ahh...what cam does it have... I b...
