Re: Headlight Relay Harness
Glad to see you guys still chasing this! I haven’t seen my 510 in 4 years, or the street car I sold back in 2013. We have another 4 year stint before we can possibly make it back to the US so I’ll keep lurking.

Re: WTS 1973 510 Tan/Brown
Not through me, but it is up for sale again. The current owner doesn't know about this thread, so if anyone is looking, here are the details. And better pictures. It doesn't look like they've done much, so I can probably answer any questions without much reservation. I hope everyone in CA is enjoyin...

Re: Rod ends on trailing arm
I'm in the same boat with wanting to use a good 5/8 rod end instead of the stockish rubber bushings or even a more traditional fabricated sleeve and spherical bearing. Am I missing anything critical that would make a rod end not work, or dangerous?

Re: another KA question....figment options
I have pieces of 240 based KAs in the garage, including 2 short blocks and a decent head. I live up in Wellington if you want to use a short block for fitment while you look for a complete engine.

Re: Stock front rotor source
If anyone is looking for stock rotors, the ones from Classic Garage, linked above, worked and fit well. No issues with Porterfield R4-S pads for dd, autocross, or hard canyon use.

Re: Interior Door Panel Styles by Year?
Not to take away from anything that you're putting together Dave, but has anyone seen the interior panels at Techno Toy Tuning? If you're not looking for the upholstered look, these look pretty sharp. https://technotoytuning.com/nissan/510 , click on Everything Else. No relation to the shop, just di...

Re: Whitebird
Northern Colorado is nice, I like the area and the lack of people. It has pretty much cemented that I won't retire in California. I'm getting used to the cold and wind, so now I'm just getting the house/garage settled so I can get back to my car. That yard seems to get a pretty steady supply of 240s...

Re: Whitebird
Which 034 ECU do you have? I can talk to the builder of said system to see if it'll even run off of the CAS. That, and no one in the area wanted to touch that software so I had to drag my dad's project down to Santa Fe to get it tuned. I was comfortable tuning the low-end/light load at Bottle Blown ...

Re: Headlight Relay Harness
Kyle,
The stock wiring has power for the headlights routed through the headlight switch. All of that wiring through the dash and the switch creates a large voltage drop at the lights themselves.

Headlight Relay Harness
Here is my version of a headlight relay setup. I put this together in such a way that I could remove all of the new parts and plug the stock wiring back in without any repairs or modifications. I'll post the schematic over the weekend, in the meantime see here for the list of materials I used. http:...
