Re: Ecotec 510

matt, I'm estimating you got about...40-50K miles out of that STI diff before wearing out the CLSD? Are the R180 clutch diff wear parts still available? Was your switch to the 4.44 motivated by anything other than the tall T56 2nd overdrive gear and...um..the insatiable desire for more thrust? (Othe...

More congratulations - newborns are...like nothing else. My wife and I both work in medicine - she in pediatrics, in fact. When she sees new parents in with a newborn and lots of questions- she always quotes one of her mentors from years ago - keep it simple: "all you have to do for this little baby...

Re: PRISTINE 1995 Nissan 240SX SE

Agreed - nice aesthetic. I've not seen many 240sx's with the 300zx wheels, and I like it! Are the rear uprights zx also? My understanding is that they're interchangeable with s14's, but alu casting instead of steel What would define "the right 510" that would meet trade criteria? As for the rebuild,...

Re: The SSE (Super Sport Estate) Project

Wizard, I've followed the post closely and I like your creation - even more so because it's been done within the constraint of a wagon (with unbreached cargo floor). Thank you for teaching/showing us so many solutions - including most recently the QA1's. The above pic looks fantastic -and, apologies...

Re: Anyone know why we don't use a rear bar? (video added)

Brad - as far as not missing something basic - and testing things easily for free - you might check for binding of the rear control arm bushings on extension/droop. Re: WTS- dual SK/OER 47mm with manifold linkage-800

Friendly advice from one who's run this type of side-drafts in a 510: get "short" air filters and NISMO rubber studded isolators/insulators (go between the carb and intake). The short filters will help with clearance, and the insulators seal well, add intake tract length, and "isolate" vibration so ...
