Thank you I will look it up on the net and ask the parts man. I never realized how small the engine bay was.

Auto parts stores all say group 24F is the proper battery size. This battery is larger than the battery tray. Is there a better option?

I found out the L20b oil pan is much deeper than the L16 oil pan. Anyone have an L16 oil pan and oil pickup?

Gentlemen, I'm doing an L20b engine swap in a 1971 510 wagon. I'm looking for an oil pan and oil pickup from L16 engine. Hopefully this will solve my hood clearance problem.

Great day removed front trim and fenders to start detailing the engine bay.

Just purchased a 1971 510 wagon from BaT. L20b hits the hood. Need to lower it 1/4" to3/8". Oil pan hits the cross member then. Any simple way to resolve this? 1600 oil pan, hammer a nice dent in the oil pan or ? Any advice appreciated.

Purchased a 71 datsun 510 wagon on Bat. Just starting to sort out all the pieces that came with it. I will be asking for advice on everything as car is a very nice shell.
