Re: KA24 won't start
I would check CAS wiring. I’d bought a Spec V B15 that had ran rough, after having it fail to stay started while driving, I got it home and ran the codes. Turned out there was a misfire and after swapping in a motor I held onto from a previous car the issue persisted. After changing the coil pack ha...

Is there a way to get a harness for a s14 SR?... The one I got with the motor had already been cut and apparently made to work in a US s13 or s14.

Re: Spherical rod ends (heims) for suspension use
I would imagine that if there was a tight enough clearance... there would be no noise coming from the part itself due to not being jammed into the enclosing part....

Being from San Diego and all, maybe you'd like to help a fellow dimer out with wiring an SR?, or just hang and compare cars.... we'll consider mine a diamond in "really" rough!

Re: 13" Panasport wheels fitment??
For sure you need a spacer. The stock 510 13's leave 1/2" between 280zx rotor and wheel, I havn't tried to install my calipers for that reason alone.
I could get pics of this, but you'd have to wait until the weekend due to my cars location.

Re: My 1st 510 Project
I too am from San Diego, if you're anywhere near, likely, check in National City, at Cherniss' Tire World... I've had a wheel fixed for $65... they do ship it out though. You've got a nice platform there, definitely cleaner than mine! Maybe consider a VG swap though, it's been documented also, and y...

Re: WTB front coilovers for 71 510
You could get some "new", contact ermish-racing.com or technotoytuning. They both sell ready to install coilovers, or you can get the DIY kit from T3 but you'd have to piece everything together.
You'd have to consider which inserts you'd want to use.

Re: Bushings for T3 T/C rods
I just installed them, and that was that, I've not driven the car yet, though it has been moved by tow truck to storage. I was just making sure of whether or not there were other parts that would be needed, I don't like having to wait last minute for things that could've been done waaaaaaay before.

Re: Bushings for T3 T/C rods
I was hoping that was the answer, though they just seemed to not fit right. Maybe I should have tightened them completely when I installed them?!

Re: Quick release hub for Sparco wheel.
LTB Autosports in florida has the momo hubs in stock, I just got mine yesterday evening. Apparently the early z hubs are the same part #. Also you can just get an NRG q/r if you so please and that should bolt up to both the hub and wheel.
Is your wheel a 5 or 6 bolt?

It's been a while since you posted anything about the car, I was actually thinking about this project the other day and was wondering what was going on with it.

Re: Whitebird
I asked because I already have that welder. I figured I could use a thinner wall size T304 due to my SR being N/A, and stock. What was more of a concern was whether I'd actually be able to weld it using said flux- core welder.
