Re: 'goon H190 is howling pretty goods

Swappin the truck diff and using the wagon side gears is prolly the best option and cheapest. I'm not 100% but I don't think ring and pinions can be bought new anymore. Also is their a setup procedure for the spider gears like many other diffs?

But hey datsun put those stupid hatch vents in wagons to suck exhaust fumes into the car while driving also, prolly to try and kill off some of us for killing their relative...

Re: Axle/ brake plate shims for wagon......... ???

WOW mike your the man! Thanks for that info. I wonder if I can get any stainless material that size. It still comes down to what side has what for shims. My bearing spacers I sell with my brackets are sized as close to the thickness as the backing plate and the shims together. I use a military spec ...

nissan 720 arm rest part number??

I dunno how guys magically find these part numbers, but I'm almost 100 percent that my 85 720 uses the same arm rest as a 510 uses minus the fancy plastic chrome strip. I've measured mine in my 720 and compared it to a thrashed 510 one. Only difference I see is the shape is just a touch different. A...

Re: Softening windshield seals

Boiling rubber in water works awesome but I dunno how long it lasts. I used to boil carb rubbers on motorcycles to make it easyer to get those 4 cylinder bike carbs on.

Re: anyone here a machinist? handy with a lathe?

I asked mike and were kinda having a schedule conflict. I might still end up having him do it. If I still got some time I kinda need to get it done asap so I can put my diff back together.
