However i dont understand how you could think this stuff could be bad? If installed correctly i dont c how any moisture could ever get to the metal thats covered by this stuff...and as long as you didnt cover over any rust..i could imagine this being better than paint to some degree....its not like...

I had a bonding problem between the mats and the rattlecan rubberized undercoating I used to seal the floor. Dynamat and Second Skin won't stick to the paint, so I have to find a glue to hold it all together. That makes the job a lot more mess and work.
