Re: Fiberglass front valance

Variations in 510 infrastructure will mean some tailoring will be needed. I know Futofab makes their fiberglass fenders, rear light panels and such a bit on the extra material side for tailoring to those Datsun tolerance differences of .062" and larger. Yeah, big doubt Troy makes them he's way ...

Re: Hello

Some of the East Coast guys will read this and tell you about Dave Patten driving his GT3 race car down to Summit Point from New England. Also, L-series engines are perfectly happy reving. Most of us here have done thousands and thousands of miles at 4K, no matter how many gears we had in the box. E...

510-Trans.jpg Wow!!! I've been have that exact same noise issue as funwithmonkeys. I have floor insulation and the SR trans tunnel cover but am looking at stuffing it with foam plus the shifter boot as bertvorgan has. Earplugs? no way, at hiway speeds it isn't bad at all and I can actually hear Jim...

Re: Sr20det install with steering cross link

Center section will hit the motors upper oil pans rear section where those two strength castings are. I've seen pans where that area of contact was machined away enough to where no contact was made. Naturally motor placement rearward will make a hugh difference also in how much of that material is r...

Re: wtb z22 crankshaft

Can anyone confirm that the Z22 crank from a 200sx is fully counter weighted, unlike the Z22 crank from a 720 truck???? If true that would be worth having. The part numbers are different. There not! The LZ2.2 I build years ago I picked out of a 200SX and it was not fully counter weighed but!! it ma...

Re: Constant power to blower motor and turn signals.

I just received the "BIG" late 1970-1972 diagram from Paolo, and it has more info on it, including the factory optional tach, clock etc AND it shows some of the common electrical modifications including the internal regulated alternator, battery relocation, headlight relays etc etc..........

.125" yikes!!! Did you tell them or did they tell you the top of the head needed a cut? if they told you did they tell you why like as in an amount of warpage? I can tell you this, your cam geometry will NOT be correct and that will/may require new valve spring retainers for thicker newly neede...

My Niece lives in Diego and make really good $$$ and recently bought a Condo that she needs 2 room mates to help make the payments. That's not living, that's imprisonment W...
