Re: Brad's '69 project
Sorry for the delay, I just wanted to wait until I had something to report. The buyer and I have communicated a few times and the sale is moving along. I received payment today. The car will be going to a collector and kept on the east coast, either in Florida or Montreal. I appreciate this forum an...

Re: Brad's '69 project
Thanks for the kind words everybody. While I built this car with every intention of keeping it and passing it on to my kids, life's priorities change, and I've decided to sell the 510. Today a one-week live auction started over at Bring-A-Trailer. Below is a link, please pass it on to anyone you kno...

Thanks for the pics from the FSM Byron.
Mike, try it with the ball joint on top of the LCA, this should solve your bolt head interference problem.

Re: Front Suspension Issue HELP
I have my ball joints bolted UNDER the LCA, like you do, because it appears they are designed this way. It has been suggested that they are supposed to go ON TOP of the arm. I am using the later-style steel arm, so this area is thinner than your aluminum arms. The thickness of the arm in this area i...

Re: Brad's '69 project
It's been too long, time for a major/minor update from a few winter projects. I finally addressed the bubbles that were showing on both rear quarters. I met an older gentleman, local to me, who recently retired from a career in bodywork and had set up a very nice backyard shop. We considered Dave's ...

Re: Front wheel bearing torque for racing
I love the idea of this spacer, wish I had thought of it. Please let us know if it works for the 280ZX spindle/bearings.

240Z Seat Grommet (vent, breather)
Does anyone know where I might buy the brass or stainless grommets that came on seat back of the 240Z's? It's less of what I call a grommet, and more like a vent with small holes in it. Here's a pic.

Re: Brad's '69 project
Long time since the last update. I finally installed the new windshield following my bonehead gravity check with the air gun. After not driving it for a time while sourcing the glass, it's a real joy. Cranked right up, all systems go, and the cooler weather is really noticeable. I did another track ...

Stopped in this morning to post your link as I just found it on my quick pass through a few favorite sites, petrolicious being one of them. Great story, and welcome to the Realm!
