I just wanted to post a video of the 510 for sale with 400 rwh, the car is brutally fast, decent handling and a blast to drive.

Re: Qr25de swap
The Qr25 IN MY 2007 Frontier is a very torquey motor is pulls the 4000 pound truck around just fine and has even towed my 510 over the Grapevine in So Cal. In a 510 you should have a stump puller of a motor.

Re: I need a stronger rear setup...help!
The outer stub axels can be replaced with 27 spline 75-78 280z units, they are a common replacement for higher horsepower 240-260 z's and a 510 or two ( the 240 and 510 stubs are 24 spline). Make sure and replace the rear trailing arm stub axel bearings with new ones as the 280z bearings have a larg...

Re: I need a stronger rear setup...help!
The mounting points for the R200 could be changed easier than putting a live rear axel in the car. The stock halfshafts will live under moderate drag strip duty if the U joints are replaced with a set of Neapco Brute force units. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/29642-part-for-bruteforce-or...

Re: I need a stronger rear setup...help!
An R200 will not twist stub axels, a R160 LSD was busted and several R180 stub axels were broken before I bit the bullet and put a R200 in the car with a NISMO LSD (Which I have never regreted). Several friends have put torsen OBX units in R200's with good success for a very reasonable price. Using ...

Re: Is my 510 twisting?!?!
I agree that the roof looks like something heavy was sat/thrown on it. Have you made any trips to Walmart or Home Depot recently? A lowered 510 would provide an almost ideal platform for a soccer moms heavy package while she loaded the kids into the minivan (ask me how I know). I will post some pics...

Re: Is my 510 twisting?!?!
When I first put a large shot of nitrous on the L28 stroker I started noticing cracks along the roof pillars, the motor put down 256 rwh and 280fpt. Putting a six point cage in the car with braces between both sets of shock towers eliminated any twisting of the body all the way up to 535 rwh launchi...

Re: Dave's turbo car number 2
That is great looking fabrication work, are you going to stick with the Bosch 036 injectors ? MSD makes some really nice stainless injector pieces for 14mm O ring fuel injectors, if you are planning on using larger injectors in the future.

Have you seen what 300+ horsepower does to a 510 rear suspension?

Re: 510 track/street build
I used to make a 'home brew" for my old Spearco water injection system 45% distilled 50% methanol or denatured alcohol and 5% airless paintsprayer corrosion inhibitor or water soluable oil. This mixture had great detonation resitance and added a bit of octain and had some lubrication properties...

Re: 510 track/street build
Very cool setup, I might have a set of L28et pistons that would allow you to safely run more boost. The hp goals seem very realistic it will be interesting to see how your project progresses.

IF money was no problem..id start with a VG33 and go with VH45? pistons. ... 3.5L forged.. THEN go from there... trash the STOCK supra pistons because i dont ever recall seeing any...
